About Us

Rising From The Ashes

The centre was started in 1996 and for a number of years we offered  assistance to veterans and their family’s experiencing difficulties with  pensions, welfare and supplying temporary housing for Veterans and Veterans families who needed assistance in times of crisis.

Sadly our original hall was burnt down in 2006 by persons unknown and was completely destroyed.

However we relocated to our current home later that year and are rebuilding both the centre and our organisation.

As of 1st May 2016 with the help of VMC members the VMC started a recovery phase. The membership is growing and there are fund raising activities happening to commence redevelopment of the shop fronted house located next to the Centre.

This will offer  temporary housing for Veterans and Veterans families who need assistance in times of difficulty.
